Epilepsy Surgery Program & Level IV Epilepsy Center
Over more than a decade of clinical practice in South Florida, Dr. Garcia helped develop and expand a comprehensive epilepsy surgery program and a Level IV Epilepsy Center. He also performed the first stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) procedure in Florida, helping introduce this advanced minimally invasive technique for evaluating patients with drug-resistant epilepsy in the state.

Dr. Garcia has been involved in the presurgical evaluation of more than 1,500 patients with complex and drug-resistant epilepsy. His clinical work focuses on identifying individualized treatment options for patients whose seizures have not responded to conventional medical therapy.
